Many human beings have held the belief that God exists. But, what is the nature of God? Does he exist? Well, this course is an introduction to the (philosophical) discussion of some of God's traditional properties: eg, being all-powerful, being all-knowing, being morally perfect, being eternal, and being incorporeal. It is also an introduction to some of the principal arguments for and against his existence: an ontological argument; some cosmological arguments; some design arguments; an argument from religious experience; and the problem of evil.
