Through gentle walking the course will look at drawing as a way to capture the urban and natural landscape of a seaside town. Each session will have a different starting point. You will be introduced to creating drawn marks, texture and perspective.
Course aim
The course will look at drawing as a way to capture the urban and natural landscape of a seaside town. We will walk from point to point drawing as we go and make drawn observations from seated positions. All paper and tools will be mobile.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is for beginners and improvers
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Create drawn marks using drawing tools and materials.
- Create texture using drawing tools and materials.
- Start to draw perspective using the Urban landscape as inspiration.
- Learn about Artist who also cature a seaside enviroment.
- Enjoy being in the open air and drawing with a group of people.
What else do I need to know?
Some materials will be provided including a clipboard. Please be prepared for a range of weather and wear sensible footwear.
