This course will help to develop and channel your writing ability, whether as a hobby or for publication. The emphasis is on individual development. All forms are included, notably short stories, novels, plays, feature articles, writing poetry and autobiography and memoirs. You will be invited to read your work and have feedback in a constructive and friendly setting. We will have discussions on many aspects, such as shaping short stories, creating characters and using description. There will also be short writing projects in class. Beginners are welcome.
Course aim

What else do I need to know?
The only qualification is an interest in developing and enjoying creative writing skills. Work in progress can be brought to the first meeting but is not essential.
