To expand and develop students' knowledge of Family Historian software with particular reference to practical working techniques. This short course will be structured around guided discussions to develop confidence in delving deeper into this recording programme for both beginners and anyone with some existing experience. It is anticipated that students will support sharing strategies and help problem solving within the group . The methodology of Family History research will not be included.

By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Demonstrate confidence and the ability to ask questions about using Family Historian as well as contributing to problem solving discussions
What else do I need to know?
It isn't essential to have version 7 of Family Historian software to join this short course. However to get the most from the discussions downloading the free 30-day trial version from the developer's website www.familyhistorian.co.uk in advance is recommended to aid understanding and progress.
