This taster will allow you to experiment, develop and have fun with your own ideas with guidance and tips on word choice, developing characters and use of story structure. Gain some motivation and be inspired to develop creative ideas further.

Course aim

Online taster offering friendly approach to finding inspiration and getting those words onto the page, be it fact and fiction or somewhere inbetween.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Express an understanding of some key creative writing tricks.
  • Demonstrate improved confidence in your abilities when planning a piece of creative writing.
