Creative Textiles

Ref: C3680293

Discuss and explore a range of textile processes in this friendly course. We will work practically and experimentally with processes, materials and techniques, exploring textiles as an art form, whilst also responding to the spring theme. You will have the opportunity to discuss and select practical projects collaboratively with your group - which may include fabric printing, surface manipulation, layering, weaving, dyeing, stitch and embroidery. We will discuss creative practitioners using textile processes in interesting ways. In addition to producing samples which practically demonstrate specific techniques, you will be invited to combine various processes through an independent, textile art project, on the theme of Spring.
