Henna Flow - Introduction to Henna

The henna flow will prepare and introduce students to the art of henna. Students will learn a variety of skills to create a henna design. The course is designed to encourage students to create their own free-flowing henna designs and motifs.

Course aim

Learn how to create a range of traditional motifs and then go on to create your own freestyle henna designs. You will be shown how to make henna cones and henna paste and how to apply this to the skin.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Create classic henna motifs such as swirls, hums and paisleys
  • Make a henna cone
  • Control the flow of henna paste from the cone
  • Create a simple party design using a range of classic henna elements
  • Track my progress and achievement in an online learning platform.
