Aimed at beginners and those of you who have previously joined us this course explores the basics of mindfulness practice and considers how mindfulness practice might be relevant to each of our lives. We will find out about different techniques and teachers and we will connect with others through shared experience and support. We won't take each other too seriously and there will be laughter! For 5 weeks together we will have the opportunity to press the pause button on our lives and consider our own needs. The course will be practical and there will be relaxation, discussion and teaching. We will briefly touch on some of the latest, exciting developments in neuro-science that explain why mindfulness practice works and consider how we can embed mindfulness within our own lives. As a holistic life coach and teacher Jude’s mission in life is to share her experience of a wide range of holistic tools and techniques that have had such an impact on her life over the years.
Course aim
The benefits of mindfulness include a reduction in stress, anxiety and negative thinking + greater resilience and quality of life. This light hearted course aims to provide connection, community and confidence through an exploration of mindfulness.
