Gustave Caillebotte: The Neglected Impressionist

Ref: C3679666

Gustav Caillebotte was a quiet, self effacing man, of independent means, who financed, organised, framed and encouraged many of the early Impressionist exhibitions and whose own paintings have only recently been appreciated in their own right. His pictures give a unique view of Paris and its people at this crucial period of cultural development in Europe.
