Arts and Crafts for Wellbeing

The course will promote different creative craft ideas both through the tutor and through those who attend who may wish to share their own creative art and ideas. This course is available for free for any student who is in receipt of any income based benefit.

Course aim

The main purpose of the course is to promote wellbeing by introducing individuals to different creative craft to do in their spare time. The course will look at crafts such as pebble art, marbling, making god's eyes and card making.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Follow instructions to complete a creative project
  • Share their creative craft and talk about it
  • Comment on someone else's creative craft
  • Create their own piece of craft independently
  • Suggest ideas to support others with their creative projects

Tutor will supply resources for tutor lead activities Learners will be encouraged to bring in their own creative projects and share their creative and craft interested.
