Course aim
Create a 2D mix-media painting, capturing your own interpretation of what the summer means and brings to you, whilst exploring different effects through art materials that allows the fun textural effect occur within images.

- This course is for beginners and improvers
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Explore mix-media imager and learn the different effects art materials can create.
- Discover a brief history of mix-media whilst creating a summer mix-media piece.
What else do I need to know?
If you'd like to create alongside the tutor, you will need Card (A4 or A3 size) Acrylic paints, glue salt/sand wood shavings, glitter (for texture) tissue paper, colourful/textural card, paper or fabrics. Other items such as photos, magazine cuttings or foliage. All relating to the summer time
