We look at setting up a community garden and compare to an existing one that has already been established. We briefly cover as an introduction to this: Identifying a location. Planning stage and working with nature. Gaining community engagement and volunteer help. We explore community uses for the garden and future use. On going maintenance plans yearly and beyond.

Learn what is needed to set up a community garden.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is for beginners and improvers
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Consider at least 4 trees or plants for your community garden.
- Identify at least 4 uses for your community garden.
What else do I need to know?
A notepad and pen/pencil will be helpful. If wet please bring good boots and wear old clothes for any practical sessions.
