Songs From Around the World

Learn and sing acapella songs from around the world - and in the process learn a little about the songs, and the cultures featured in the session. Easy rounds and simple harmonies; during the session you will be muted and will only hear your voice and the tutor- however recordings will be uploaded to Canvas to enable you to practice and further enjoy the songs in full afterwards.

Course aim

Celebrate Cultural Diversity by learning some songs from some of the many cultures who live in the UK

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for anyone who enjoys singing - nobody else can hear you so a great opportunity to build your confidence and enjoy your voice. Please note as the session is for all abilities I will make space for questions and there will be some repetition as we learn together.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • learn 3 songs from different parts of the world
  • learn some simple voice warm ups to enhance your enjoyment of the session
