The Wolf in your Dog aims to give a brief introduction to the evolution and domestication of the modern day dog . The nature of wolves as a species will be introduced and comparisons will be made between Grey wolves and Companion dogs. The part that humans have played in the selection and breeding of the many dog varieties we see today will also be introduced.
Course aim
To provide a brief introduction to the modern day dog and its relatedness and evolution from the Grey wolf.

By the end of the course I should be able to:
- A better understanding of how the process of evolution works.
- Increased knowledge on the process of domestication in dogs.
- Increased knowledge on how modern day dogs compare and differ to modern day wolves.
What else do I need to know?
The taster session is aimed at those with an interest in canines, so all that you need is an enthusiasm for the topic and perhaps a paper and pen to jot things down if desired.
