A chance to try out different effects that can occur within textural mix-media painting, using a number of different art materials, create and develop your own interpretation of the seasons over 6 evening sessions, as well as share ideas and own knowledge with others.
Course aim
Create a 2D mix-media painting/collage, showing your interpretation of each seasons and explore the different effects through art materials that will give a fun textural effect within each image.

By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Learn about the different paint effects used within the course.
- Develop an understanding of mixed-media images.
- Create and aim to complete a seasonal image.
- Build-up own confidence creating a mixed-media painting.
- Develop own knowledge mixed-media art materials used.
What else do I need to know?
If you'd like to create in the session, you will need Card (A4 or A3 size) acrylic paints, glue salt/sand glitter (for texture) tissue paper, coloured paper, different colourful textural fabrics. Plus items collected such as photos, magazine cuttings or foliage such as leaves shells etc.
