History Of Musical Theatre with Alison Warren

Ref: C3533067

Musical theatre is possibly the most popular genre of live theatre in Britain. Between new musicals appearing all the time and some audience members going back to the same, show hundreds of times, this seems to be a good moment to consider the background to the development of musical theatre from the end of 19th century to the present day. And with the recent revival of the movie musical, we will consider the background to this important element of the genre. So pop your tap shoes flex your jazz hands and let’s go on with the show!
