Tamar Bridge Live: Making the Bridge - 2d/3d Collage Workshop

Join us on Zoom for this free online activity, which is brought to you live from the Tamar Bridge. This session will take place in real time with clear demonstrations, so you can either create your collage along with the tutor, or simply enjoy watching our collage of the beautiful Tamar Bridge view as it is created. Why not take the opportunity to be inspired and plan your next visit to the Tamar Bridge Visitor and Learning Centre.

Course aim

Explore everyday materials to create a unique 2dimensional and 3dimensional collage inspired by the river Tamar, the Bridge and its surroundings.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Recognise the potential of everyday materials to create 2d/3d collage
  • Create a visual representation of the Tamar Bridge using materials
  • Make decisions about composition

How will I be taught?

What kind of feedback can I expect?

What else do I need to know?

A3 Cardboard/board Paper, Magazines, Tissue paper, newspapers/ greetings cards, Recycled materials eg fabric, straws, string/ wire. Glue and scissors & acrylic paint if poss: Yellow, Blue, Red, Black White Please bring a range of surfaces, finishes, textures and shapes.
