This lecture is part of our Christmas events. The subject specialist will deliver the lecture, with a limited time at the end for questions. Christmas is a time when we reach for our traditions. They may be family traditions or they may be ones important to your community. But do you know where they came from? Or how old they are? Or maybe you're even looking to revive a few? This lecture will explore Christmas traditions, especially those focused around food to explain their origins and perhaps introduce you to some new ones. So settle down with a mince pie and some punch and listen to some Christmassy history. There will also be access to a few traditional Christmas recipes to try on friends and family this festive season.
