Handmade cards are special, they take time and effort because we want them to be as unique as the person who receives them. To make your cards even more unique why not try your hand at making your own embellishments? Embellishments can be used to add colour or texture and dimension to an otherwise flat or monochromatic project. They are also a wonderful way of covering up mistakes you might have made during the card making process. It is also a great way to use up scraps be they paper, fabric, or ribbon, and they are not just for cards they can also look stunning in your junk journal, scrapbook or tucked into your art journal.
