Conversations in English for Beginners

This course will allow students to practise conversational English in everyday situations e.g at the shops, chatting to a friend, ordering a take-away. This will include role-plays, listening activities and students will be exposed to a variety of resources using videos and online materials. The course is for students who are at Entry 1 level of Spoken English.

Course aim

To equip student with the confidence and language skills to interact in everyday situations.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Introduce and greet someone.
  • Invite a friend round for a cup of tea.
  • Listen to an answer phone message and chose correct option.
  • Order a take-away.
  • Go clothes shopping with a friend.
