3D Crafted Christmas Cards

Making cards should be fun and never more so that at Christmas time.It is great to try something new and add a little something extra to your greeting card collection of 'go to' ideas. Using nothing more than card, nice papers, scissors, glue and a bit of bling we will be creating some stunning 3D element cards - a great way to add flair for the festive season - though don't tell anyone, some of the designs can also be used for other occasions, simply choose different papers! Please join me for a fun build up to Christmas in an incredibly friendly and supportive group of like minded crafters.

Course aim

Creating Christmas Cards with a 3d element.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Accurately measure and cut card and decorative paper.
  • Use a bone folder or similar to define creases.
  • Create a greeting card using origami elements.
  • Create a pop-up Christmas themed card.
  • Use all tools and equipment safely in home environment.

What else do I need to know?

Yourself and your enthusiasm for crafting. Some greeting card blanks would be great or just some A4 sheets of card. Scissors and glue, wet PVA, glue stick, tape runner or double sided sticky tape, and some decorative papers.
