You've done the family history research, now what are you going to do with all of that data? Writing a biography of an ancestor will help you to focus on one person and dig deeper into their life story. It will also allow you to get creative with your writing skills as you piece the story together to produce a factual account of one of your ancestors and their place in history.

This course is for those who wish to consolidate their family history research into producing a written biography of one or more ancestors.

By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Access and navigate relevant family history websites and use them to search for ancestors.
- Identify and use a variety of online and archive resources.
- Develop research and analysis skills and look at wider research opportunities.
- Use the context of the resources to discover more about the social history of ancestors.
- Develop digital and creative writing skills.
