Are you changing careers or preparing to enter the job market? Do you need to improve your job search, application and interview skills? then this is the right course for you. On this course you will learn effective job search techniques, how to present your skills and knowledge on a job application form, and look at the most common interview questions and sample responses.

Course aim

The course is aimed to identify skills, qualities and attitudes for learning and work. It will boost learners' confidence and help them realise that personal skills and qualities count.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Learn about the most common interview questions to help you prepare for a job interview.
  • Learn key points about writing and improving a CV.
  • Learn about different ways of searching for a job.
  • Learn how to successfully complete a job application form.
  • Learn about the importance of reviewing a job description and person specification when completing a CV or an application form.
