Course aim
The aim of the course is to gain confidence in the use of Microsoft Word application to create documents and format them and to increase employability skills.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is for beginners and improvers
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Use the mouse and keyboard, create a document and save and print
- Insert an image to a document, format and set the page margins and orientation
- Have a better understanding of the icons on the ribbon and their functions
- Insert a table and use borders and shadings
- Create headers and footers and use automatic fields
What else do I need to know?
You will need internet connection, speakers, webcam, a microphone and preferably a laptop, in order to use our platform Zoom. You will also need your personal email address to join the WEA's learning platform.
