A short course to find out how to support children’s learning, giving an overview of how to provide confident and effective support in schools.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is for beginners and improvers
- You will need basic digital skills, to be able to understand how to follow URL links to pages on the internet.
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Identify ways children can develop their learning through play.
- Begin to identify practical strategies to support children’s development in numeracy.
- Begin to identify practical strategies to support children’s development in literacy
- Explore ways of encouraging children’s social, emotional and behavioural development
- Begin to develop an understanding of the role of supporting learners with special educational needs and disabilities.
