Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is for beginners
- You will need your own personal email address so that you’re able to log in to the WEA’s digital learning platform: WEA Canvas.
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- 1. Describe why it is important to work in a way that promotes person-centred values and how to put this into practice.
- Examine the Social model of disability and describe its potential effect on attitudes
- Identify 2 dos and 2 don’ts with regards to moving and handling practice.
- Explain the importance of privacy and dignity in care
