Brockwell Park was originally a country house set in parkland. We will discuss, as we walk, how it was saved evolved into a treasured park in South London. We will explore the social history of the park over the last 120 years, taking in Brockwell Hall, the Tritton Clock, and the Walled Garden.
Course aim
To celebrate the heritage of London Parks, this walk is focussed on the heritage of Brockwell Park.

By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Gain an insight into the heritage of Brockwell Park
- Understand the social history of the surrounding site
- Understand the importance of parkland
What else do I need to know?
Please dress appropriately for a walk in Brockwell Park. The walk will cross a mix of flat and hilly areas within parkland - most paths are tarmac. There is a cafe and toilets at Brockwell Hall
