Learners will gain an insight and understanding into mental health and wellbeing in children and young people whilst discussing the impact of ill mental health disorders. Students will be introduced to different aspects of mental health disorders, improving mental health and wellbeing as well as building on your knowledge of the various forms of support available to children and young people.

- Be aware of different forms of mental health disorders.
- Have an understanding of risk factors associated to mental health in children and young people.

- Know about different forms of support available.
