During the Initial Assessment students will undertake English and maths assessments, an extended writing task and you will have an opportunity to discuss your skills and experience so we can find out if this is the right course for you.
Additional information about this course
The initial assessment is only available to adults that: • Are aged 24 or over. • Must not have a qualification higher than a Level 2 • Must not have a qualification higher than a Level 2 gained in another country • Must live in London. The assessment is for the Level 3 Diploma - Working in Early Years course that will start later in the year.
Course aim
In this session we will assess your suitability for the Level 3 Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) Diploma accredited by CACHE / NCFE.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This is an advanced course for students with experience and skills in this subject
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Identify the skills I have, need and will develop in order to complete the Level 3 Diploma
- Discover / agree whether I am ready and able to undertake an accredited Level 3 course
- Complete Maths and English assessments
- Ensure that I meet the eligibility criteria required to enrol on the course
- Enrol on to the Level 3 Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) Diploma accredited by CACHE / NCFE.
