- You will be able to discuss the nature of autobiographical fiction in both Bassani & Ferrante.
- You will be able to explain the role of corruption in Italy as illustrated in post-war literature.
- You will be able to describe the relationship between a masculine culture and the position of women.
- You will be able to relate Italian literature to the wider sphere of post-war European literature.
