This course will enable students to plan a household budget, as well as discuss tips for saving on their bills.

Course aim

To build students' confidence in planning a budget and saving on bills.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is part of the BBO Money Sorted project. You must be referred by a BBO personal navigator to take part in this course. To find out if / how you could take part in the project, click this link: http://moneysortedind2n2.org/

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Identify at least 1 benefit of planning a budget
  • Describe the relationship between income and outgoings
  • Identify at least 1 way to save money on at least 1 bill
  • Identify at least 1 good spending habit
  • Understand the importance of setting financial boundaries
