This course is aimed at the people who are new to dress making and find it difficult to follow pattern instructions due to either language barrier or any other reason but want to be able to make their own clothes. On this course you will learn how to take your own body measurements to be able to cut free hand without a pattern. You will also learn some alteration techniques to have your garments customised and better fitted. The course is also suitable for people who already have some sewing experience but are willing to further develop and learn new skills and techniques. Students are welcome to bring own projects and work on these with tutor guidance.
