Students will use their basic crochet skills to create projects using the Corner to Corner technnique. They will crochet a variety of projects including using colour blocks to create a picture or pattern and how to work the sides straight to make a rectangle. Students will also learn how to reas Corner to Corner crochet charts gaining an understanding of how to create their own designs on these
Course aim
This course will build upon the basic crochet skills to extend these into the specific technique of Corner-to-Corner crochet. The course is aimed at those with experience in basic crochet techniques

By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Create samples using Corner-to-Corner crochet
- Demonstrate how to effectively change yarn colour in crochet
- Explain how to read a Corner-to-Corner pattern and a chart
- Understand how to design a Corner-to-Corner crochet chart
- Describe how to crochet a rectangle rather than a square using Corner to Corner
What else do I need to know?
Double knitting yarns, scissors, 4mm or 4.5mm crochet hook. This is an online course so students will be required to access the internet during the live sessions and also to access the materials on Canvas.
