Course aim
To explore our own musical tastes / preferences and unpick some of the reasons why certain songs might appeal to certain people.

By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Analyse and articulate the reasons why I like a particular song more than others
- Describe at least one factor that may influence a person's taste in music
- Comment on the relationship between interval patterns and the sound of a melody
- Comment on the effects of music on the brain's limbic system
- Make a contribution to activities and discussions
