The act of writing can be very therapeutic. Whether with pen, keyboard, or dictation, we can fuse our thoughts and words for expression, release, organisation, and self-reflection. Within a safe and social environment this five-session course will examine and discuss various writing-related techniques that can be used to have a positive effect on our mental wellbeing. From journaling and expressive writing to letters & lists, safe-place imagery, and various creative practices, we will dip our collective toe into this field to pinpoint practices that could be useful in our everyday lives.
