This course is designed to support you to develop your everyday computer skills. You will work towards learning the basics of how to use spreadsheet software, word processing software and presentation software so as to help enhance your employability skills.

Course aim

This course will help you to gain confidence to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint for employability purpose.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Increase confidence in the use of Microsoft Office Applications to create documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Increase confidence in the use Microsoft Word to enter text, format a document and insert images into the document.
  • Increase confidence in the use Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets and use formulas and functions.
  • Increase confidence in the use Microsoft PowerPoint to create a presentation and run a slide show.
  • Gain skills to create a master slide and use transitions and animations in the creation of a presentation.

You will need to have a computer with Microsoft Office installed. This is an online course so you will be accessing Zoom for your learning
