You will cover basic "survival" French so you can cope with common situations such as shopping and modes of transport ......... This course is suitable for those who just know a few words. It is a follow-up to a course which began in January.
Course aim
Learn to speak and understand some simple everyday French with a native French speaker and gain a little insight into French life. You will cover basic "survival" French so you can cope with common situations like shopping for food and transport.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is for beginners
- This course is suitable for students who already studied greetings, how to present themselves, telling the time and explaining directions to a place.
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Ask for and give information to successfully buying a train ticket or a kilo of potatoes.
- Use numbers (up to 100) in various topics and scenarios like shopping lists and train timetables.
- Communicate and exchange information about shopping - ask for at least 5 basic items in two separate settings
- Communicate and exchange information about transports - at least two modes of transport.
- Demonstrate clear and phonetically correct intonation in a simple sentence of conversation.
