An important part of printmaking is to understand how to collect ideas, and develop these in printmaking. It is important that your prints reflect your own interests . As part of the course we will explore design, composition , perspective and colour . Our use of colour will be supported by exploring colour theory ,ways to layer colour . I will be using Cranfield Safe Wash inks and extender and soft cut lino.
Course aim
We will explore how to develop creative ideas for linocut printmaking by exploring and understanding the design process , and composition.

By the end of the course I should be able to:
- I will collect and use my visual research to develop creative work unique to my interests .
