A general course for writers wishing to commit to regular writing sessions across a variety of disciplines and to improve writing through learning the craft and feeding back to others in the group. There will be writing exercises to get you started and editing sessions. There will be optional assignments to complete between classes and an opportunity to share your work each week in small breakout groups as well as the main session. You will offer and receive feedback. We will cover a range of areas including writing fiction, short stories, poems and life writing. Suitable for beginners and improvers.
Course aim
This course will get you writing in a variety of disciplines, sharing your work and feeding back on the work of other class members. It is a friendly and supportive environment to learn the basics about the craft, and consider your writing goals.

- Demonstrate a greater understanding of common features of poetry, fiction and/or life writing
