Do you or someone you care for suffer with anxiety? Are you looking for new ways of learning to cope? If so, this course could be for you. This course aims to equip people with the skills to manage anxiety on a day-to-day basis, so that they can continue to enjoy life and flourish.

Course aim

The course aims to explore how anxiety affects the mind & body, how to change anxious thinking cycles & relax more effectively. If you'd like to know how to deal with panic attacks, overwhelming feelings & generalised anxiety, this course is for you.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Give a brief explanation of what anxiety is
  • Describe how anxiety affects our bodies and minds and give an example of how it affects me
  • Explain how our thoughts and responses impact on our anxiety
  • Use at lease 2 positive techniques for self-management of my thoughts and responses
  • Develop personalised coping strategies to work along side self-management of thoughts, which will help me move forward
