This supportive card and paper crafts course will enable students to try different 'cost effective' crafts to create a variety of decorative items for gifts and pleasure. The course is aimed to improve your wellbeing and confidence through participating in fun and relaxing craft activities. This one day course will include such crafts as: book folding, a variety of cards and paper craft projects using recycled materials found in the home. This friendly and relaxed course caters for everyone who has an interest in crafting, working with their hands, learning new skills and techniques as well as sharing knowledge, experience and ideas.

Course aim

To help individuals design, create and make a range of hand made cards & paper-craft gifts for friends and family. This course will include: teabag folding, 3d cards, book folding.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Identify existing craft levels - techniques & styles
  • Produce a range of projects which reflect your creativity
  • Identify two different ways of embellishing your projects
  • Incorporate different recycled resources into your projects
  • Present ways to share your ideas, knowledge and experience.
