This beginners' cookery class will cover basic techniques needed to cook delicious meals from scratch. We will consider a balanced diet and how to achieve one without having to give up favourite snacks and dishes. Students are able to ask for adaptations or make requests via canvas before the course starts. This class has a relaxed pace, and time is allocated at the end of every session to eat together and enjoy each other's company.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is for beginners
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Make several meals from scratch
- Follow a recipe
- Utilise simple techniques to prepare vegetables
- Explain what it meant by the term 'healthy diet'
What else do I need to know?
Students will need access to a working kitchen containing a hob, oven and a blender or stick blender is always useful. Ingredient lists will be shared roughly one week in advance and students will need to buy ingredients for each week.
