Cooking From Fresh

Cooking From Fresh is BACK! This four week course is an extension course for those who attended last year and wish to try out some new recipes. The canvas tile will be opened early and you can submit requests through the SLR. I will then use these requests to develop 4 new recipes which are healthy (ish) and packed full of nutritious veggies. As always we will allow 30 minutes at the end of each session to relax, eat together, and enjoy each other's company.

Course aim

A brief overview of healthy vegetable focused cookery

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Make several meals from scratch
  • Follow a recipe
  • Use a number of implements to prepare vegetables
  • Explain the benefits of a balanced diet

You will need to purchase ingredients for recipes, these will be posted on canvas approximately 1 week prior to cookery. You will need use of a basic kitchen including an oven, hob, blender or stick blender, weighing scales, and so on.
