We all experience stress, at different times and at different levels. Constant stress however impacts negatively on your mental and physical health. It is crucial you manage your nerves effectively, and have the tools to deal with any anxiety that may arise.
Course aim
This course helps to understand what causes stress, what makes us nervous, how that impacts on our confidence, effects us mentally and physically and what we can do to control it.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is for beginners
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Explain what triggers stress and the impact is has on mental health
- Identify my own triggers and things that make me feel nervous/anxious
- Grasped at least one strategy for dealing with nerves and nervous situations
- Appreciate and have practiced relaxation techniques
- Implement at least one technique which can help me tackle my nervousness into my daily life
