A fun bake along class which will enable you to interact, watch or bake together during the class. A very relaxed and fun session with some easy and quick baking tips to whip up some gorgeous and tasty bakes for you to take home and enjoy with your family.

This course is face to face. You will need to become a member of the Shama Women's Centre at £10 for the year.
Course aim
This course is to help with your wellbeing and encourage you to get quick and easy ideas to prepare healthier bakes both sweet and savoury. Importantly using minimal ingredients and keeping the cost low whilst enjoying staying healthy and fit.
Do I need any particular skills or experience?
- This course is for beginners and improvers
- Dietary requirements need to be communicated to the tutor at first session.
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Follow instruction and adapt a basic step by step recipe each week.
- Contribute to class discussion by sharing opinion of the finished product with others.
- We will work with recipes that will keep in mind the benefits to both health and wellbeing.
- Gain a simple knowledge of cooking hygiene and healthier options to bake.
- Learn about healthy ingredients to use in bakes and how you can enjoy food withour feeling guilty.
What else do I need to know?
Aprons, notebook and something to write with. To discuss the contribution of ingredients during the first session. The cost of the ingredients needs to be covered by the student.
