To build students’ confidence in their money management abilities, including looking at ways to make savings and stick to a budget. This course will also help students to identify budgeting tools to assist them to manage their money and identify where they can make changes to help the save money.

Course aim

To build students’ confidence in their money management abilities, including looking at ways to make savings and stick to a budget.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Identify priority and non-priority spending
  • Identify at least one budgeting tool to manage their money more effectively
  • Identify at least 2 ways to cut back on spending
  • Identify at least 1 effective way to save money on food
  • Set a SMART saving goal
