So Here It Is, Merry Christmas with Kevin Brown

Ref: C2345459

This course considers the historical, religious and cultural significance of Christmas celebrations over the centuries and places it into the context of current ideas and practices in the UK. We will consider religious traditions and backgrounds, eating and drinking and making merry, music and dance, Christmas crafts and the ethics of the modern celebrations. This year offers what I hope will be a unique opportunity to consider life and celebration in historical and religious contexts. Let's party while we learn together.
