The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood of artists created some of the most readily recognisable images of the Victorian period which still resonate with audiences to this day. Recent major exhibitions at the National Gallery (2017), Tate Britain (2016, 2019) and The National Portrait Gallery (2019/2020), as well as a the 2009 dramatization of the artists' lives shown on mainstream television, have generated renewed interests in this fascinating group of artists and their followers.
