Ref: C2228807

Research has shown the health benefits of reducing stress by practising art activities and looking at artworks. Enjoy trying out different art activities for yourself from drawing, painting to simple printmaking. Discover what you works for you. In a safe and supportive atmosphere find out which art activity you enjoy and what could help you to destress. We will also practise different relaxation techniques using breathwork, body awareness and mindfulness. We will discuss the effect art can have on health and ideas on how to be less stressed through art, looking at different artists' work. Some basic materials are needed for the course but you will be guided as to how to keep costs down and use recycled materials wherever possible.
