Care 2 Care

Ref: C2228723

The role of a carer can be complex, challenging and yet rewarding. This friendly, fun and non-judgemental platform will provide a much needed opportunity for carers to meet other carers and discuss the everyday and long-term issues they face, especially in these challenging times! Come and meet the tutor and other carers who can relate to the challenges and rewards of caring, and share experiences, problem-solve and celebrate your achievements, hard work and resilience. By the end of this session, you will have an idea of what the future caring course is about and how best you can be supported in your role as a carer.

Course aim

This taster session is for anyone, in any form of a caring role, and will give a flavour of a new course that has been created to give support, guidance and advice to help carers look after themselves and those they care for.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Recognise the purpose of the Care 2 Care course
  • Identify some topics suitable for a Care 2 Care course
  • Use some features of Zoom
  • Use some features of Canvas

How will I be taught?

What kind of feedback can I expect?

What else do I need to know?

You may find it useful to have a notepad and pen with you. This is an online session so a little bit of digital skills are needed - but support will be given to those who need it.
